When was the last time you talked about—or even let yourself think about—what really scares you? As a person, as a small business owner?
Our fears are like weights around our ankles and blinders around our eyes. They slow us down and keep us from seeing the full scope of the world and all that’s possible in it.
But many of us have been taught our whole lives that to be successful and admired we must keep our fears to ourselves, and ignore them even within our own minds.
But that gives fear more power, not less. I’m here to tell you: if as a business owner you feel afraid sometimes, you are not alone. Being honest and upfront about what scares you is what can put you on a path to change.
I’m going to tell you about one of my biggest fears, and how it got me stuck in a place I didn’t want to be as a physical therapist and business owner. Getting beyond this fear was what allowed me to finally grow and evolve, to discover what I really wanted from my career, and to build the business of my dreams—on my terms.
But that growth took much longer than it needed to, because I spent way too long stuck being afraid, and unwilling to admit this fear even existed. Watch this video, and let me help save you some valuable time:
