An Important PSA for the “Lone Ranger” Practice Owner

Why did you get into physical therapy? Or chiropractic or allied health? Whatever your profession is?

Well, I’ll tell you why I got into the field—because I wanted to help people.

I said it when I had my interview going into school, when they actually still did in person interviews… I don’t think they do in person interviews anymore… But the professor politely asked:

“Why do you want to be a physical therapist? ” And I said: “To help people.”

And of course, she didn’t let me go with that simple little answer….

Here is how I learned a huge lesson in why I do what I do…
